Burning Bridges

Oh, after trying to sit down for studying, I finally took my chance this morning to wake up somewhat earlier than usual. Wednesday I’ll have my first exam of the second year, and for pushing myself the only option was to go to the library when it opens: 8:30 a.m.  Whatever, sitting there, reading a whole bunch about instruction technology, suddenly the alarm was howling all over the building. Luckily, i nearly was falling asleep and needed a brake, but which idiot pushed the goddamn alarm button? Typical Dutch, i thought. Looking around me, asked the girl next to me what’s going on. She just shrug her shoulders - weet ik veel - and sat down. Right, but minutes later some security guys came in, told us to go out. Fantastic, there’ you are, once in your life in the university library, and they throw you out because of some fire alert. I decided to drive home, saw the fireman passing by. Well, in the end it seemed that there was nothing but a test. Great guys, next time don’t do that during the two-week-exam-period! Grrrr…
