Even Jesus was a hitchhiker…

After school, at about 15:00 I started the trip. Was doing really good, even though I hitchhiked during the nighttime.
The 8th of November

At about 7 in the morning I crossed the border.

At 9 I reached the destination – Budapest.

18 hours hitchhiking for 1200 km, which makes average of 66 km/h
9 rides for 1200 km which makes average of 133 km per car

After I got to the host, I just dived under the blanket on the mattress which was prepared for me. After that I, Harry and Judit (the host) went had beer in the bar, and actually it was a good time !

When we were already done with this, I got a message that one of the girls who could not offer a couch wants to go for a tour through Budapest with me, and so I agreed. It was quite funny time, Charlotte is a hilarious person.

When I was back from a walk, the house party has started, some of them were Judit’s and Thomas’s friends, some of them were random couchsurfers. It was a good one though.

After a tiring day, I just fell asleep like 3 years old baby.

The 9th of November

When I woke up, all of house mates were hangover, so I decided to discover the town myself. Even though it was lonely tour, it was quite good. It was just me against the beautiful Budapest, relaxing and non-stressful day. Also I met some great people (here greetings goes to Turkish).

And after exploring me, Thomas and Judit had beer in Godor (probably one of the best clubs in Budapest). After some time Márton came. We went for some more, then separated with Thomas and Judit, and changed local and spent a great evening together, mostly on sharing experiences from different countries.

The 10th of November

This day I hitchhiked back, though I did not head on home, I visited Julia and Aldona in Warsaw. This evening was just kicking ass ! If I was not that tired, I am pretty sure we would have spoken whole night long, great topics, good understanding, and just, there is no expression for this – great people, great hosts, great friends.

Longer way, does not mean a worse way – sometimes it’s good to keep it in mind

Nothing special, just hitchhiked back home

In the end, I would like to thank the most for the hosts and for the drivers, those made my trip cost hundreds euros less and people I have met during these days.
